    We Who Worship
Excerpt from Cheryl Salem’s book We Who Worship:
“When a worshipper whether self-proclaimed or otherwise leaves the platform after the worship portion of the service is finished, the questions should not be:
Did I lead the people in worship?
    Did I do well?
    Did I sing beautifully?
Did I dance or do my drama with Blah, Blah, Blah?”
    “The questions should be:
Did I worship God in spirit and truth?
Did I touch the throne of God?
Did I touch the hem of His garment?
Did I abandon my desire to please humanity and only please my Creator?
Did He hear the sound of my worship so high in spirit that only my Bridegroom could know the sound of His bride?
Did I sing as if no one was listening?
Did I dance as if no one was watching?
Did I use every fiber of my being, spirit, soul and body to worship the King of kings without the constraints of worrying what any human might think?
Worship is a choice of my will. No one can lead me in or out of worship.”

Only in man, as created by God, can god admire Himself. Man is the mirror image in which God looks to see Himself. Man is the reflection of the glory of God, which was the purpose and intention of God originally.

Man’s supreme function through all eternity is to reflect God’s highest glory and that God might look into the mirror called man. and see His own shining there. Through man God could reflect His glory to all creation”

“God made man to be like Him so that man could give more pleasure to God than all the other creatures.”

    John 4:23
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
Worship is not a location but a relationship!
Worship is about transformation not conformation
Worship is Jesus centered not self-centered
    – Pastor Diego Mesa on teaching “You were made to worship”

    Colossians 1:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God [with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition]
