My Miracle Healing

It always amazes me how God interrupts and intervenes on our behalf! I am always amazed when I see miracles in other’s lives that I pray for, and it always blesses me to know He is still in control and on the throne.
This year, on March 22, 2013 at 4:00 AM I woke up with a debilitating pain on my left side. Thinking it was the ememy trying to discourage me after a great bible study teaching on The Holy Spirit, I prayed and went back to bed. I kept waking up about every 20 – 30 mins in worse pain. At 5 or 5:30 am, my wife Caroline helped me prayed and the pain stopped. We thought great, we had another victory over the enemy.
Later that morning after seeing her off to work and dropping my granddaughter at her school, I went home to prepare to go to the doctor’s office for a planned appointment (unrelated to the pain). As I started to prepare, the pain came back and this time I knew I had to go to the doctor’s immediately because this was not normal. The pain was so bad I thought I would have to pull over and call an ambulance but through praying in the Spirit and cautious driving I made it. After some very painful waiting in the doctor’s waiting area, I saw my doctor (first visit to new doctor who replaced my old doctor – thru prayer, another story for another time) and she immediately ran tests and thought I might have a kidney infection or kidney stone.
After some painful waiting, I ended up calling my wife to come pick me up and take me to the ER. 4 hours later, we found out I had 4 kidney stones, one of which was causing the pain (had moved down to my bladder).
By 5:30 pm after being released, (the pain medication I had been given was wearing off and I was in some serious pain. That day was the roughest day, Fast forwarding to the next week, I saw an urologist who recommended surgery on a Wednesday for that following Friday, fears about surgery began to surface but I trusted my miracle working God to guide the hands of the doctors to remove the stone.
After a lot of prayer from church members, family and friends, I went to surgery prepared. When I came out of surgery and drowsy from the anesthesia, the nurse told me the procedure went fine but the doctor could not find ANY stones! When I asked her to repeat what she said, I realized that My God had provided me with a miracle healing. Not only did I not have any stones but I wasn’t cut because of the type of procedure it was. So I’m at home resting and healing and praising and thanking JESUS for my miracle healing.
Standing on His Word, believing and speaking in faith for the miraculous and casting out all doubt and fear really does work!
